The Shoals Labor Council is hosting the longest-running Labor Day celebration in America for the 104th year. The event kicked off with a parade through downtown Tuscumbia, and WNRA was once again part of the procession. It is 90 years to the day after the above photo was made of WNRA staff announcing the coming of WNRA. The parade was held on September 4th 1933 and the station opened in November.
WNRA is grateful to the Labor Council for having us in this year’s parade so the Blue Eagle could fly once again!
