Florence Utilities reports that electricity department crews are responding to a power outage affecting customers from Shoals Creek to the Elgin area of Lauderdale County.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. We appreciate your patience as our crews work as quickly and as safely as possible to restore power.
To report a power outage, call 256-764-4456. Do not call 911 to report a power outage. If you encounter a downed power line or damaged electrical equipment, stay away and treat them as if they are energized.
